The "Welcome to Africa" pair captures the essence of a landscape and a life that pulses beneath a scorching sun. It is a visual echo of a place where light, dust, and colour interweave in a natural rhythm. Rich tones of yellow and orange meet deep blue and muted green, creating an atmosphere that is simultaneously raw and compelling. Free lines and markings evoke an archaic language — traces of memory pointing to stories rooted in time.
The paintings hold a tension between light and shadow, calm and movement, tradition and the present. Each can stand alone as a distinctive statement piece, yet together they create a balanced whole and a natural visual dialogue that gives a space depth and rhythm.
They bring energy, warmth and a gentle rawness into an interior — not disruptive, but authentic. They offer a sense of freedom, openness and inner strength, as if capturing a moment that is always changing.
