I’m Katerina, a painter and interior designer. In my work, I blend architecture, a sense of space, and art. Intuition and understanding are equally important to me. Thanks to this, I create paintings and interiors which truly express who you are and stand the test of time, they never grow old.
Harmony, depth, and technical precision in every painting and design.
Bringing interior design experience to my art
Katerina Kersey
I design interiors with a well-thought-out concept that blends function and aesthetics. I oversee every project from design through implementation, including on-site supervision. This ensures that ideas for enhancing your space don’t just end up in a drawer.
Interior design
You can choose from a selection of original paintings inspired primarily by my travels, nature, and human stories, or I can create a custom painting for you, for your home, or for your office, where you are the main source of inspiration.

What will we work on together?
That’s when my sensitive, professional approach comes into play.
You long to live in harmony with nature and with yourself. In my work, I draw on the principles of building biology, biophilic design, and feng shui.
When you want the result of our collaboration to harmonise with you aesthetically, functionally, and energetically.
If you have experience with new construction or renovation and don’t want to get lost in the process, but sail through the project all the way to the finish line, to the harbor, your home.
If you know that a painting or interior shouldn’t just be beautiful, but should radiate an energy that you can truly feel.
When you long for a personal painting or a new interior, but don’t have the time to handle it.
If you want to find your unique style, whether for your interior or a painting, and create a space where you can truly be yourself.

When collaboration
I’ll save you time and money by recommending trusted vendors: their work will fit seamlessly into the proposed concept and budget.
My paintings and interiors will either energise or calm a space: from the start, I plan for the effect you want to achieve.
I’ll transform the stress of overwhelming options into a clear plan and confident decisions: whether it’s a painting or an interior design project.
I combine technical design expertise with artistic sensibility: I’ll find the perfect style and technique to highlight your space.
Why work with me?
Healthy, harmonious living: I create interiors that support well-being, balance, and a connection to nature.
Long-term value: the paintings and interiors I design work well and age gracefully as a thoughtful investment.
Our collaboration is calm and guided: I’ll support you even in moments when you feel like giving up or get lost in the process.
I design paintings with consideration for proportions, light, context, colours, and the overall character of the space: I approach the space as a whole, not in isolation.

Me, in numbers
Josef Míšek
When selecting it, we were looking for something that would connect the natural elements of wood with the modern interior in our loft space. Its abstract depth and warm colour palette were decisive factors for us. What captivated us most was the play of light: the golden reflections and organic shapes look different every time, depending on how the sun shines into the room. In the bedroom where the painting hangs, it creates a sense of absolute calm and harmony. It exceeded our expectations above all with its texture, which looks very luxurious yet cosy against the white wall beneath the massive beams.
We are truly delighted with the painting Outlandish World we purchased.

What was decisive for us was Katerina’s eye for detail and colour, as well as the fact that she doesn’t design interiors based on trends or templates, but truly tailors them to our needs. Above all, working with her gave us confidence and peace of mind. Suddenly, we had a clear direction and knew why we were choosing specific materials, colours, and individual elements. The interior began to function as a whole and make sense. We appreciate her precision, thoroughness, and ability to ask about details that we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves.
Working with Katerina Kersey was one of the best decisions we made when designing the interior of our home.

It was as if it had drawn me into a moment in the forest after a fire, into the moment when nature’s wisdom takes hold, brings moisture, and gradually restores balance.I see in it a symbol of a new beginning. Perhaps a few embers are still floating in the air, but silence and calm are already setting in. The motif resonates strongly with the mission of our Roztáhnout křídla foundation, which supports the self-worth and independence of women who have faced difficult life situations. I am very grateful that Katka donated the painting to us, and that we can auction it off at the upcoming conference.
When I first saw the painting Forest on Fire, I felt a deep sense of calm.

The goal was to create a concept that would be visually consistent, functional for day-to-day operations, and at the same time feasible in different countries and under varying budget constraints.Katerina’s professionalism, expertise, and practical approach to the project were decisive. She is able to combine creative design with practical feasibility, and thinks not just about design but also functionality, costs, and practical implementation. Thanks to this, we were able to complete more than 80 branches across Europe.
As a Swiss company operating throughout Europe, we were looking for a way to unify the design of our offices across individual branches.

For me, its colours convey an emotion that is hard to describe in words. The red flowers appear vivid, as if they were breathing, and at the same time they possess both delicacy and strength. There is a strange tension and harmony within it, movement and stillness. Every time I look at the painting, I discover something new in it: a different feeling, a different mood. I am grateful to Katerina not only for the painting itself, but also for coming into my life at this particular time.
To me, The Dance of Roses is more than just a painting. It also holds a piece of the story that the artist and I shared, one full of strength, fragility, and new beginnings.

But we were faced with a beautiful yet very challenging space where it was hard to even get started. We knew we wanted to blend the old with the new and create a timeless, cosy, functional home, but we just didn’t know how. Katerina helped us create a place we truly love. She has the ability to immediately see life, movement, and atmosphere in an empty space. She was able to grasp our ideas sensitively, creatively, and practically, and bring them to life.
After returning from Prague, we decided to give my grandfather’s old farmhouse a chance instead of building a new house.
