The "Starry-eyed" pair captures the world as seen through the lens of emotion, dreams, and gentle idealisation. Layered strokes in shades of pink, yellow, and violet interweave with stronger golden lines that anchor the composition and give it order. The contrast between the spontaneous painterly gesture and the structured elements creates tension — as though reality and fantasy were meeting in one place.
The paintings explore perception — the way each of us creates our own view of the world. The idea of seeing through rose-tinted glasses is not presented here as a negative illusion, but as the ability to notice beauty, lightness and hope where they might otherwise remain hidden.
They feel lively, optimistic and refined. They bring light and gentle playfulness into a space without losing elegance. Each painting can stand alone, while together they form a harmonious whole that visually connects and develops the room.
