In this painting, the fullness of blooms meets a current of light that seems to arrive from above and slowly spread through the space. The peonies are painted with a certain rawness and lushness — not polished, but alive, almost in motion. Above them, golden strokes descend — not merely as rain, but as an energy that flows through everything and transforms it.
This is not simply a floral composition. It is a moment when something opens, ripens and moves into a new phase. The peonies symbolise the fullness of life and beauty at its most intense, while the golden rain brings cleansing, a new impulse and a gentle release.
The painting radiates joy, vitality and sensuality. It carries the energy of summer, as well as a certain depth and the reminder that even the richest moments are fleeting — and therefore all the more precious.
