This painting was donated to a charity auction at the Roztáhnout křídla foundation conference, in support of women standing at the threshold of a new life chapter after a difficult period.
This painting is a quiet testimony to the moment when everything old breaks apart so that something new may emerge. A forest in fire — powerful, untamed, painful. Here, it is not merely destruction. It is, above all, transformation. A process that cannot be stopped, only moved through.
In the dark structures and cracked lines, we sense the weight of the past, the layers of experience that settle within us. Red accents recall heat, emotion, passion and pain. And yet, through this intensity, something else begins to appear: a soft mist, drops of rain, a quiet breath of calm. Hope.
The painting captures the moment just after.

When the fire is losing its force and cleansing begins. When in the space that was only moments ago destroyed, a new breath starts to form. This is where the symbol of the phoenix is born — not as a dramatic image, but as an inward, quiet decision to rise again.
For women, the painting can carry a deep message: that even when we feel exhausted, broken or lost, new strength is already being born within us. Vulnerability is not weakness, but a gateway to transformation. Every phase of burning carries the possibility of rebirth — more conscious, stronger, more truthful.
Forest in Fire is made for those who have moved through change. For those who sense that something is ending and, at the same time, that something important is beginning. For women seeking support in their own depth, courage to release the old and trust in a new beginning.
It suits interiors that are not only beautiful, but deeply personal: calm living spaces, bedrooms, studios and therapy rooms. Places where art is meant to speak, hold space and remind us that after fire comes rain. And after rain, new life.
